A good winemaker has a thousand ways to make a wine "better,” but by whose assessment? Like any good parent, one should encourage but not mould. Each year, there is a new family to raise. It begins with meticulous biodynamic viticulture in Felton Road's four estate vineyards. Gravity flow is the start of gentle winemaking. Ferments are spontaneous. Inert gas is shunned. Oak is a subtle companion. The malo, a function the warm spring air. Pinots are unrefined, unfiltered; Chardonnays, likewise. The bottling of single vineyard wines are based on speaking of a place, not on a selected hierarchy of flavour.

OCP has a legacy of stewardship that is rooted in the values that drive its business. Since inception, the team feels a deep responsibility to the land and has made initiatives towards habitat restoration, conservation, and forward-thinking environmental practices in the vineyards and cellar. From its own certified organic vineyards and with fruit from partner growers with family values, the team passionately creates wines that showcase the spectacular beauty of Canada’s Okanagan Valley.

The Champagne Houses Piper-Heidsieck, Charles Heidsieck & Rare Champagne have been based in Reims in the heart of Champagne for several centuries. They produce Champagne while perpetuating a traditional know-how in order to ensure the excellence and authenticity of the wines. A quest for excellence leads them to constantly innovate, considering the environment and the people in order to offer the best quality for their consumers. They are engaged in excellence in viticultural practices. They aim to reduce the environmental impact of their activities (-61% of our carbon footprint for Scopes 1 & 2 and -46% / bottle produced for Scope 3 by 2030), achieve net-zero carbon emissions before 2050, and integrate sustainability into every project and decision-making. They also aim to preserve cultural heritage.
St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery

St. Supéry operates as stewards of the land with preservation as top priority. In every effort, whether a capital project or minor task, future impact is thoroughly considered. As a 100% estate-grown, sustainably farmed winery, St. Supéry has 1,595+ acres of land with two-thirds left in its natural state, encouraging biodiversity. Carbon studies indicate both vineyard properties sequester +1400 metric tons/year. Solar arrays offset 91% of the winery’s energy bill, winery water usage has reduced by 50% in the last 5 years, and all process water is recycled. St. Supéry irrigates with captured rainfall and recycled water.
