"We want to lead the way to the spherical economy, which seeks to diversify circular production, generate value from by-products, and achieve self-sufficient energy production. This productive model allows us not only to turn waste into resources, but also uses our pruning remains, pallets, or barrels to produce energy through biomass plants. By focusing on reducing, reusing, and recycling, we close the circle to self-sufficiency with renewable energy."

"I find it great to see that more and more wineries are signing up to our initiative and committing to become Net Zero by 2050. My hope is that many more wineries will join IWCA and that also other sectors will begin or accelerate similar initiatives to implement carbon emissions reduction programs. It is clear that no one can afford a 'stand by and watch' attitude towards climate change anymore; immediate action is needed by everyone and everywhere!"

"The day I purchased Felton Road, in 2000, We built a mission for the long term future. True sustainability was at the heart of that mission and it is unchanged two decades on. It comes ahead of economic performance—in fact, ahead of everything except the quality of the wine and the happiness of the people."

"Unlike almost any other agricultural product, there is a natural conversation around wine—how it's grown, how it's made. That gives winegrowers a tremendous opportunity to educate our consumers about the impact of climate change and how our practices and choices can influence it. We are excited about the transparency of sharing our carbon footprint and about how we will eliminate it."

"Combating and adapting to climate change is a task for all of us. Companies cannot ignore the current serious climate crisis; we must take concrete actions to reduce and mitigate the impacts produced by our processes. For us, Miguel Torres Chile's participation in IWCA is fundamental; to join a strict protocol for mitigating CO2 emissions, to join the actions implemented by other wineries around the world and to receive feedback from them regarding new projects and their results."

"It has been more than 20 years since we began our journey, but the triple bottom line of improving the environmental, social, and economic aspects of the areas we operate in is as important to us today as it was when we started Sula. We firmly believe that we are responsible for conserving resources and improving the lives we touch. It is a long-held view that businesses need to compromise on sustainability to enable growth, but for us, sustainability and growth go hand in hand."
